about

Our names are Nick Moreton and Darren Jilks.

We have been playing and writing music together for over a decade, and recently, due to "logistical issues" we decided to call it a day on our previous band and have both persued other musical directions.

After a few months, the itch to play music together again resurfaced and this album is the result.

The 10 songs on this album were written between 2002 and 2008, and never made it past either demo or rehearsal stage to become established with our previous outfit. This album could easily have been called 'The Lost Songs' if The Appleseed Cast hadn't already beaten us to it.

We recorded the album in two days at the end of March 2009, using 2 microphones and one acoustic guitar.

The future may hold futher Trails By Aeroplanes albums and live shows, but we shall see. For now, we are happy to have got back together to create something, we hope that you like it.
